The Cruise

Many moons ago, I embarked on a cruise. It was a grand vessel, boasting all the luxuries one could imagine. The sea was calm, the sun was shining, and the journey promised nothing but relaxation and tranquility.

As I leaned on the ship’s railing, watching the endless expanse of blue, I thought to myself, “Life doesn’t get easier than this“. But, as I was soon to learn, easiness is often an illusion.
